Knitting and Purling

I haven't stamped anything in the last few weeks because I've been busy playing with yarn. My good friend, Stacey, taught me how to knit and purl. After some practice, I managed to make this whole scarf without making any mistakes I couldn't fix. I like knitting, but I'm much faster at crocheting. I've been watching this blog for awhile now and finally taught myself how to make a ripple. So I've been working on that now, it isn't as neat as the ones on the ripple-along because I'm using all the same color yarn. Maybe next time I'll be daring enough to try switching colors. I'm just not that great at changing colors. Actually, this is the first project I've done that I haven't tied a knot when adding a new skein of yarn.
